Scaping the land :)

I am collecting free and cheap plants from here and there to revamp my "farm yard". It's amazing the plants that grow naturally in the woods and are so beautiful. The hardest part is identifying some of them. This week I "scored" two plants from a group of four that looked like miniature palm trees. Not really sure what they are, so I am posting pictures in hopes someone will identify the species for me. I've planted them in a sandy sunny spot, trying to replicate the conditions they were taken from.

New Beginnings

Here we are, new at blogging and suddenly have nothing to say. Wouldn't you know it! I am very excited about posting pics of my family and farm "babies". Some of them will be leaving soon, so I will be posting them first. I sure will miss them.
